For over three decades, Randal Hill has been a very public figure in South Florida. A talented athlete, Hill was an integral player for the University of Miami Hurricanes in the late 1980s, helping to secure a national championship win in 1989. Following graduation, Hill was a first round draft pick to the Miami Dolphins, a move that marked the start of a seven-year professional football career.
15 years later, Hill is giving up his badge in order to pursue something that will allow him to serve even more people in his beloved home state.
Hill has decided to run for Congress, challenging Congresswoman Frederica Wilson in the 2016 Democratic primary.
